2022 Sauvignon Blanc, Fountaingrove District, Sonoma County
Passionfruit, white guava, green melon, honeysuckle, and jasmine flowers flourish in the nose, with just a kiss of vanilla and cream. In the mouth there is a beautiful oyster-shell minerality accompanying the tropical and green fruit sweetness. The wine is intricately textured, balancing the citrus freshness from the stainless steel with the tropical fruit richness given by barrel fermentation. All this with a framing energetic seam of acidity leads to a vibrant and persistent finish. 13.5% alcohol and 220 cases produced.

2020 Cabernet Sauvignon, Chalk Hill, Sonoma County
This is the most opulent and plush of our wines to date. Blue and dark fruits abound upfront, with traces of cedar, cassis, and violets on an aromatic background of oak spice and vanilla. The wine opens generously on the palate with notes of blueberry, blackberry, and dark plum, all held in focus with a taut seam of acidity and a velvety tannin structure. As per our style, this wine was completely fermented via rolling macerations in closed barrels, drained, and then aged for 18 months in 50% new French oak. 14.5% alcohol and 110 cases produced.

"This is a touch more plush in personality than the superb wines made here in 2018 and 2019, but the difference is stylistic, rather than qualitative, and this wine is every bit as promising as those previous vintages."

"Adolfo crafts wines reflecting the purity of the land, with complex and layered flavors that lead to a graceful finish. You’ll keep coming back for more to discover the intricate flavors unfolding in the glass."

2019 Cabernet Sauvignon, Chalk Hill, Sonoma County
The wine opens with rose petals, lavender, and black cherry, with herbal aromas of cedar, tobacco, and mint giving the wine an earthy freshness to accompany the floral notes. Harmonious and focused in the mouth, the fine-grained and integrated tannins support a nervy spine of acidity and understated dark fruit sweetness. This is a cabernet sauvignon of medium weight with a balance between richness and tension. Fermented entirely in closed-head French oak, and then drained and aged for 20 months in 60% new wood.

"...delivers a beautifully refined nose of sweet cassis, black cherries, tobacco leaf, dark soil tones, a touch of violets, a very judicious framing of new oak, and just a wisp of youthful cabernet leafiness in the upper register that is totally beguiling."

2018 Cabernet Sauvignon, Chalk Hill, Sonoma County
Intensely perfumed and aromatic, filling the glass with lavender, cedar, florals, and savory herbs over notes of sweet blueberries and blackberries, all lightly lifted by hints of fresh cream and vanilla spice. Acid-driven and tense in the mouth, gently giving away to a core of fruit sweetness with firm yet fine tannin structure. The finish remains energetic and exceptionally long with a graceful fade. Fermented entirely in closed-head French oak, and then drained and aged for 20 months in 60% new wood.
